Phishing, brute force en andere aanvallen zorgen ervoor dat hackers steeds vaker de combinatie van gebruikersnaam en wachtwoord te weten komen. Zo krijgen ze toegang tot accounts van derden. Dat wil je natuurlijk voorkomen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-dubbel-is-beter-persoonlijk-en-eenmalig-wachtwoord-otp\">Dubbel is\nbeter: persoonlijk \u00e9n eenmalig wachtwoord (OTP)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Om ervoor te zorgen dat je gegevens op HiDrive extra goed beveiligd zijn, kun je naast je wachtwoord een tweede factor activeren. Je hebt dan een extra eenmalig wachtwoord (OTP) nodig om in te loggen. <strong>Met andere woorden: de combinatie van je persoonlijke wachtwoord en het eenmalig gegenereerde OTP zorgt ervoor dat onbevoegde derden worden buitengesloten.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-de-tweede-factor-in-drie-stappen\">De tweede\nfactor in drie stappen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Wil je de twee-factor-authenticatie (kortweg 2FA) voor HiDrive gebruiken? Dan heb je twee dingen nodig. Je hebt een apparaat nodig waarop je apps kunt installeren. Daarnaast moet het e-mailadres dat in je gebruikersaccount is opgeslagen, worden bevestigd. Dit laatste zorgt ervoor dat je weer toegang tot je HiDrive kunt krijgen, mocht je de tweede factor verliezen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-dit-zijn-de-drie-stappen\">Dit zijn de\ndrie stappen:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-installeer-een-otp-app\">1. Installeer een OTP-app <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>De OTP is een zescijferige numerieke code. Je kunt verschillende apps gebruiken om deze code te genereren. Wij raden <strong>FreeOTP<\/strong> of <strong>TOTP Authenticator<\/strong> aan. Die vind je in de app store van je smartphone. Microsoft en Google bieden ook zo&#8217;n app aan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-schakel-twee-factor-authenticatie-in-voor-hidrive\">2. Schakel\ntwee-factor-authenticatie in voor HiDrive <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Log in op HiDrive via <a href=\"https:\/\/my.hidrive.com\/#login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">my.hidrive.com<\/a> en ga in het hoofdmenu naar \u2018Administratie\u2019 \u2192 \u2018Instellingen\u2019. Daar zie je de optie voor de twee-factor-authenticatie. Nadat je hier de 2FA hebt geactiveerd, ontvang je een QR-code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-scan-de-qr-code-en-bevestig-otp\">3. Scan de QR-code\nen bevestig OTP <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In de laatste stap scan je de weergegeven QR-code via de OTP-app. De app toont je nu de zes cijfers van je eerste OTP. Deze kun je invullen in het daarvoor bestemde veld in de HiDrive login. Tot slot bevestig je de invoer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nu heb je 2FA succesvol geactiveerd. Je gebruikersnaam, wachtwoord en de tweede factor (het apparaat met de OTP-app) heb je vanaf nu nodig om in te loggen op je HiDrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-twee-factor-authenticatie-geldt-ook-voor-protocollen\">Twee-factor-authenticatie\ngeldt ook voor protocollen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Als je HiDrive gebruikt met WebDAV, SFTP of een ander extra protocol, is het inloggen ook beveiligd met 2FA. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.strato.nl\/faq\/cloud-storage\/Twee-factor-authenticatie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">In deze FAQ<\/a> lees je hoe 2FA werkt met de HiDrive protocollen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wil je nog meer veiligheid voor je gegevens in HiDrive?
